Coupon Shopping

I'm learning how to do the coupon shopping, I got $79.00 worth of groceries for $36.22. Not great, but I'm working on it, I got 7 boxes of cereal, 4 bags of salad, 2 boxes of Crystal Light, 2 bricks of cream cheese, 2 rolls of Pillsbury croissants, 2 muffin mixes, 2 big bags of Doritos, Dots, Trix yogurt and Chippery's(Albertson's potato chip they make fresh).

Mess Night

The Marines have what is called a mess night, it's a dinner where most of them get drunk and you have to pay fines for silly things like, Dean doesn't drink, so he gets fined. Dean said the food was really good, the room was filled with smoke from cigars and cigarettes and the people were idiots. Drunk Marines, not fun. But he is excited that he is almost done!

In-n-Out Utah knockoff. He couldn't decide where he wanted his birthday dinner, it was between Chadders and Cheesecake Factory, he choose Chadders. Allison, Kai and Reese met us there and the kids had a great time running in circles. Luckily it wasn't busy.

New Uniform

Deans new Warrant Officer uniform.
Months of being away from home. Thousands of dollars in uniforms and equipment, and look what we get, a good looking picture. It's worth it.

Easter

Easter 09, what can we say? It was eventful. We did the typical Easter morning, egg hunt, yummy breakfast and the kids ate lots of candy. Then it was off to church. When we got home, I had realized that I had locked all the doors and left my keys. I had grabbed Dean's keys that does not have a house key on it anymore. We were able to get into the garage and get the ladder out, so Makenna climbed up on the roof because she had left her window open. Luckily she wears shorts under her dresses, so she took her dress off and climbed up. She busted the screen getting it out, which Dan came over and fixed, but couldn't open the window. Her window tends to stick. So Matt came over, climbed up on our roof in his church clothes and opened it. By then we were totally late to have Easter dinner with Allison and Tyler and family, so had to make a quick call. Then drove in to Salt Lake, had a yummy dinner and the kids went on an egg hunt. We then visited and had a relaxing evening. It is an Easter we won't forget.
