Baptism, Parties and Scouts

Caden was baptized March 1st. It was a great day.
He actually had to be done twice because his fingers didn't go under water.
His spankin new outfit. Found it at Sam's Club, $24.00 for shirt,

vest, tie and pants. Such a steal.

Cousins and friends. We had 37 family members and friends come for his special day. We are missing Kai in this picture, he got side tracked doing something else.

who stood in the confirmation circle.

Party like a rock star afterwards. We had lunch, then some went bowling, some swam at indoor pool, others stayed at our house and watch as a snow storm came in.
Finally, first day of Scouts!!!!
Rhett's shirt is on the right. Caden wanted me to sew his patches on so he went and got Rhett's shirt and laid out where all the patches needed to go.

Gunny Smith

Dean was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant on Friday, Feb. 29th.

He also received a Navy Achievement medal.
Way to go Dean-oh rah!!!

Caden turns 8

Caden turned 8!!!! He really wanted this lego set. You can build 3 different models, a big rig truck, a dune buggy, and a racecar. He was so excited, he kept asking if he could open a gift early. Of course it was a week early. We made him wait until the morning of his birthday.

For dinner we went to the Mayan in Jordan. They have cliff diver shows while you are eating. Caden got to wear this fancy head dress for dinner.

Surprisingly he even let me take a picture of him.
This is the warrior princess that would walk around and nod her head at people. They don't talk english-because, the tribe they are from speaks some sort of wierd language no one can understand. Talk about total dedication to your job.
