Christmas

Makenna opening her IPOD. We tricked her and wrapped a necklace in a small box and the IPOD in a big box. She was a bit disappointed when she opened the small box and it wasn't what she really wanted. Sure that the IPOD wasn't in the bigger box, she was surprised to find it in there.
Rhett really wanted this old school game boy game. It had paperboy, dig dug, pacman and a few other games. Dean happened to come across it at a used video game store.

Transformers and Star Wars all in the same toy. Can you get any better than that?

Christmas Eve

A rare moment when the kids are all getting along!!!
Allison, Troy and Kai came over on Christmas Eve. Kai was so cute about his present. Every time we tried to take a picture he would put his gift in front of his face.

Snow Forts

The kids built snow forts with the neighbors for an all out war. It took them two hours to build the forts and 15 minutes to battle. They were frozen when they came in.(Makenna in light blue)

Indian Gift Giving Weekend

It was a Ruby Family Thanksgiving year, and we all got together for the entire weekend. We had Thanksgiving, Lucas' 1st birthday party, watched the Boise State game, took a train ride to the North Pole and celebrated Christmas. It was a whirlwind, but a total blast. This is all 26 of us on the Polar Express.

Marine Corps Ball

The Ball was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We brought the kids with us this year. This is my $24.00 dress!!! It's white with black poka dots, gotta love Dillards sales. I made the jacket to go over it, since the dress was spaghetti straps.

Colorado and Dean's PRK (lasik)

Dean and Jill went to Colorado Springs at the end of September. Dean was having PRK(sort of like lasik, but more intense) done at the Air Force Academy and wasn't allowed to drive after the procedure. We spent a week during his recouperation while Jill's sister came to Utah and stayed with the kids. The sunsets are beautiful there.

He had to be in the dark the first few days. Not to mention all the medications he had to take. Plus this was during premier week on t.v. Talk about a pain!!!!
