New Uniform

Deans new Warrant Officer uniform.
Months of being away from home. Thousands of dollars in uniforms and equipment, and look what we get, a good looking picture. It's worth it.

Easter

Easter 09, what can we say? It was eventful. We did the typical Easter morning, egg hunt, yummy breakfast and the kids ate lots of candy. Then it was off to church. When we got home, I had realized that I had locked all the doors and left my keys. I had grabbed Dean's keys that does not have a house key on it anymore. We were able to get into the garage and get the ladder out, so Makenna climbed up on the roof because she had left her window open. Luckily she wears shorts under her dresses, so she took her dress off and climbed up. She busted the screen getting it out, which Dan came over and fixed, but couldn't open the window. Her window tends to stick. So Matt came over, climbed up on our roof in his church clothes and opened it. By then we were totally late to have Easter dinner with Allison and Tyler and family, so had to make a quick call. Then drove in to Salt Lake, had a yummy dinner and the kids went on an egg hunt. We then visited and had a relaxing evening. It is an Easter we won't forget.

An end....

I am sad that my Thursday nights are now open. I watched the very first episode and kept up on the show the entire time it was on. It will be missed. After all, I can perform surgery, I watch E.R. Now where am I going to get my medical training?

The new kitchen.....

The before(halfway through), I had never painted under the cabinets, we always wanted to tile but never got to it. And I really disliked that my previous red was very streaky looking, I thought. So thanks to Bethany painting her wall I was inspired to change it.
The after, I love it. The color is called cranberry whip, and it's the greatest red ever!!!!!

Accident at the Great Salt Lake

Caden is not the greatest listener. I told the kids no horsing around on the rocks, so what does Caden do. Stands on the edge and then....
This is his side, not his bum. His hands were all scrapped up and sprained his wrist. But when asked, said "he would do it again, because it was like he was a rock climber."
