9-11

I realized today, talking with my children, Caden and Rhett really have no clue about what happened on this day. Caden was only 1 and Rhett 4, so they have no way to remember the shock and tears I shed that day. Makenna was in first grade and we had a hard time deciding whether or not to send her to school. I remember watching the footage over and over and not being able to wrap my mind around it. I am so thankful for the police and firefighters that did their duty in the face of death. I am thankful for the moments that Americans came together and were nice to one another. I am thankful for the military that is protecting us and keeping the 'bad guys' away. I am thankful that my children can play outside without the fear of a war being fought on our streets. I am thankful for the simple freedoms of going to the store, watching what I choose on the television and so many more.

So here's my plug-VOTE!!!! It's our duty as American's. It's up to us to preserve all the wonderful things about America for future generations.

Thanks for that. I can't believe it was so long ago it feels like yesterday. I remember Logan was like a month and a half and we were living with grandma in wildomar Good thing because she watches the news and she came over and told me all about it. Devistating!
